Ring Sizing
Rings should sit snugly enough that they won't slip off, but loose enough to pass over your knuckle without force. A good fit feels secure but not tight.
A few tips before you measure
- Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold — fingers shrink in the cold and you'll end up with a ring that's too loose.
- If your knuckle is noticeably larger than the base of your finger, size up slightly so the ring slides on comfortably.
- Wider bands fit tighter than thin bands. If you're ordering a band 4 mm or wider, consider going up half a size.
- If you're between sizes, we always recommend sizing up.
Method 1 — Measure a ring you already own
This is the most accurate way to size at home.
- Take a ring that fits the intended finger perfectly.
- Using a ruler, measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimetres — from one inner edge straight across to the other.
- Match your measurement to the Inner Diameter (mm) column in the conversion chart below to find your size.
Method 2 — The string method
If you don't have a ring to measure, all you need is a piece of string or a thin strip of paper, and a ruler.
- Wrap the string snugly around the base of the finger you want to size.
- Mark where the string overlaps with a pen.
- Lay the string flat and measure the distance to the mark in millimetres. This is your finger circumference.
- Match your measurement to the Circumference (mm) column in the chart below.
Method 3 — Order a Ring Sizer
If you'd like to be completely certain, we offer a simple reusable ring sizer tool that slides onto your finger and locks at your exact size. Search "Ring Sizer" in our shop to order one — it's the easiest way to size every finger at home.

Necklace Lengths
Necklace length has a huge effect on how a piece wears — where it falls, what it layers with, and what neckline it flatters. These are the standard lengths and where they typically sit on an average frame. If you're taller or petite, results will vary slightly. Our 18" and 20" chains are fitted with three adjustable points so you can wear the same piece at three different lengths without buying multiples. The 18" chain can be worn at 16", 17" or 18", letting you shift between a choker, hollow-of-the-neck, and classic collarbone fit. The 20" chain can be worn at 18", 19" or 20", moving from just below the collarbone down to the mid-décolletage.

How to Find Your Ideal Length at Home
- Take a piece of string and wrap it around your neck where you'd like the necklace to sit.
- Mark where the ends meet.
- Lay the string flat and measure in inches or centimetres.
- Match to the length guide above.
Bracelet Sizing
The right bracelet has just enough room to move freely on your wrist without sliding over your hand. We generally recommend adding ½" to 1" to your wrist measurement depending on how loose you like it to sit.
How to Measure Your Wrist
- Wrap a soft tape measure — or a piece of string — around your wrist, just below the wrist bone.
- Keep it snug but not tight.
- Note the measurement. Add ½" for a closer fit, ¾" for a standard fit, and 1" for a looser drape.

Frequently Asked
What if I'm between sizes?
We recommend sizing up for rings and bracelets. For necklaces, go with the longer option if you prefer a relaxed drape, shorter if you want it to sit close.
Can I resize a ring after buying?
Gold vermeil rings can be resized with care by a qualified jeweller, though resizing may affect the plated finish. Gold filled pieces are harder to resize without exposing the base metal and we don't recommend it. If you're unsure about a size, please contact us before ordering — we'd rather help you get it right the first time.
Do the sizes run true?
Yes — we manufacture to international standards. Where a piece runs small or large by design, it's noted on the product page.

A Note on Care
Keeping your jewellery fitting and looking its best is as much about care as sizing. A few essentials:
- Jewellery on last, off first — put it on after perfume, lotion and hairspray, and take it off before showering, swimming or exercising.
- Store pieces individually in pouches or a lined box to prevent scratching.
- Wipe with a soft cloth after wear to remove skin oils that can tarnish plating over time.
